The newest addition to the popular Kimber line of 1911 45acp pistols, the Rapide, has arrived. TruGlo Nite Sights, Magwell, Beavertail Grip Safety are all features but the new TiN Barrel and Slide Lightning Cuts are what really sticks out.
The new Kimber Rapide features enhancements such as stepped cocking serrations, slide lightening cuts for faster lock time, Tritium Nitride (TiN) coated barrel for extreme durability, flush fitting extended magwell, new V-Cut™ match grade trigger— breaking crisply at 4-5lbs, as well as Tru-Glo ® TFX™ Pro Day/Night sights. The 2019 Kimber RAPIDE is equipped with Kimber Stiplex TM front strap texturing, as well as the new G10 WavZ TM grips for additional grip confidence; finished with KimPro ® II for resistance to corrosion.
All of these features are additional to the standout features that can be found across the Kimber 1911 Custom line. Barrels are machined from stainless steel to critical match grade dimensions, hand fitted to the frame, slide and bushing, with match grade chambers to realize its true accuracy potential. Slides with lowered and flared ejection ports that aid brass during ejection, match grade triggers breaking crisp and clean for increased confidence and accuracy, and a commander style hammers which will not snag.
