The Pulsar Thermion 2 XQ38 Thermal Imaging Rifle Scope delivers superior thermal imaging in all conditions. It comes equipped with a 384×288 microbolometer sensor capable of detecting extremely slight changes in heat signatures at distances up to 1476 yards away. The Thermion 2 XQ38 displays these high-contrast images on a high-definition 1024×768 AMOLED display on one of eight color palettes: white hot, black hot, red hot, rainbow, ultramarine, violet, red monochrome, and sepia. White hot displays heat signatures as white silhouettes over a predominantly black background, while black hot displays heat signatures as black silhouettes over a predominantly white background. Red hot, ultramarine and rainbow highlights the hottest spots on a heat signature, and violet, sepia and red monochrome are used for extended observation periods as they reduce eyestrain. The Thermion 2 XQ38 also comes with 10 reticle options, and can be switched between rock mode and forest identification mode based on the user’s surroundings. In addition, the Thermion 2 XQ38 is capable of capturing still-photos and video/audio with 16GB of memory.
