The Optimus® 6 is made entirely from ultra-strong 17-4 stainless steel. The tube body of the printed core is machined during post-production to create a smooth, beautiful exterior absent of the normal printing layers visible in most other printed cans. The blast shield and mount system is machined in-house from 17-4 SS, then laser-welded to the baffle core allowing for easy warranty of the suppressor in the case of a baffle strike or other catastrophic failure. Optimus® 6 suppressors, like all other Griffin suppressors, are warrantied for life.
